Missions are an integral part of the life of a healthy church. At First Baptist Church, we are concerned about the many elements of missions that Christ commands us to be part of in order to be His hands in the world. Below are some of the ministries we provide physical and financial help for:

Piedmont Food Bank – food assistance in the Piedmont community.

Carpenters for Christ – provide free labor in building churches and other structures for those financially unable to do so. 

Women’s Ministry Inreach/Outreach - A ministry of FBC to touch the needs of women in FBC and the Piedmont area.

Financial Support – FBC gives in excess of 20% of its annual budget to various missions causes, including: the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, Alabama Baptist State Missions, Calhoun Baptist Association Missions, and direct support of two missionary families in the Philippines and the Dominican Republic.
