Reopening Sunday School & Worship

Sunday School Reopening
and
Multiple Sanctuary Services Plan

Piedmont First Baptist Church in accordance with the State of Alabama’s guidelines for Churches will begin our Sunday School reopening and Multiple Sanctuary Services utilizing a phased approach.  This is a temporary solution that enables PFBC to not only expand our Sunday School classes but to also accommodate additional members/visitors during our morning Worship service while maintaining current social distancing guidelines.Button - Reopening Video (300x75)Sunday School Classes will meet in specifically designated rooms that will be marked with each class’s name and the number of individuals that can be accommodated utilizing social distancing guidelines.  

Piedmont First Baptist Church will begin Phase I on the 28th of June and Phase II will begin on July 19th.  The following are the Phase approaches:

PHASE I (June 28 – July 12)

1. The following classes will meet for worship in the sanctuary at 8:00 am and meet for Sunday School at 9:00 am in the designated classrooms:

“Faith”, (Mrs. Martha Garner) Rm 120 will remain in Rm 120
“The Way”, (Mrs. Cynthia Baker) Rm 124 will remain in Rm 124
“Friendship”, (Mr. Art Ingram) Rm 125 will move to Rm 128 (former Harmony class)
“Hope”, (Mrs. Diane Marshall) Rm 126 will remain in Rm 126
“Harmony”, (Mr. Albert Coble) Rm 128 will move to Rm 125 (former Friendship class)
“Men’s”, (Mr. Jerry Dempsey) Rm 131 will remain in Rm 131
“Mary”, (Mrs. Margaret Jones) Rm 136 will move to Rm 121 (former Jabez class)
“Ester”, (Mrs. Jean Mohon) Rose Rm will remain in the Rose Rm
“Ambassadors”, (Mr. Phillip Kirk) Rm 219 will accommodate some and Rm 224 will accommodate the overflow


2. All other classes will meet virtually (Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.) for Sunday School at 9:00 am and meet for worship in the sanctuary at 10:30 am.

 

PHASE II (Begins July 19)

All Sunday School classes will meet at church (More information will be forthcoming on classroom assignments and locations)
