Zoom / GoToMeeting

The church is not a building — it’s a community of people who love Jesus and love each other. Even when we are not be able to meet in person, we can stay connected by using technology to worship together as a church body and to study together in online small groups. During these uncertain days, it is critical that we stay connected as a church. We encourage you to join us online (Facebook and Youtube) for services on Sunday mornings (10:15 AM).

Many of our Sunday School classes are continuing to meet via online technologies.

 (1)  Art Ingram’s class is meeting via GoToMeeting. If you prefer to participate with a telephone instead of a smartphone or computer, you can listen on your telephone as Art shares the lesson with his class. Simply dial a number and enter a code that you are provided. You can get the number and code by contacting Art at 256-453-2489.

(2) Other classes, including those taught by Steve Smith, Martha Garner, Randy Houck, and Phillip Kirk are using a video conferencing app called Zoom to allow participants to meet online using their smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer to participate in the lesson. The video below explains how zoom works. You can contact Paul Harper at 256-283-5588 to get more information about Zoom and how you can be a part of one of these classes.
